Position SummaryDhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring an RN, Assistant Nurse Manager / Pediatric on behalf of our client, a hospital and health system in Baltimore, Maryland. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports the Children's Services Nurse Manager and nursing staff, with a focus on patient outcomes, patient experience, patient throughput, staff engagement, unit operations, fiscal management and change management.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Children's Services Nurse Manager in leading daily pediatric unit operations.
- Drive improvements in patient outcomes, patient experience and patient throughput.
- Promote staff engagement and support the development of the nursing team.
- Assist with fiscal management of the unit.
- Lead and support change management initiatives within Children's Services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- 3 years of recent nursing experience in Pediatrics/PICU or NICU, including progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- S.T.A.B.L.E., NRP and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Pediatric chemotherapy/biotherapy provider course.
