OverviewSeeking an Assistant Quality Control Manager with experience in electrical and technology applications. The successful candidate should possess core expertise in one or more of the following subjects/disciplines:
- Electrical systems including power (normal/emergency) distribution and lighting systems
- Electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, perimeter security and information assurance
- Quality control metrics and monitoring practices to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements

Responsibilities- Being on site every day to perform quality control inspections of the electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and fire suppression work; and ensuring compliance with contract drawings and specifications
- Participating and contributing to weekly client‑facing meetings, where the QC program will need to be discussed
- Hosting client‑facing preparatory meetings, presenting upcoming work and its incorporation into the Quality Control program
- Preparing and documenting daily reports, deficiency logs, and progress photos
- Handling the Quality Control of RMS (Resident Management System), the USACE online tool for documenting and tracking the project
- Working on design reviews and quality checks from internal drawing reviews
- Collaborating with construction superintendent to develop installation QC inspection plans
- Ensuring compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations
- Ensuring contract compliance and quality standards are met
- Implementing corrective actions and solutions with the team to ensure a quality product is delivered and documenting deficiency/corrective action
- USACE CQM Certification (can be obtained within 2 weeks with training and a test)
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited), Construction Management or Business Management and relevant field experience – 7+ years on projects/work similar to that required on this contract
- Excellent communication skills and tact to work directly with customer and internal senior management, supervisory personnel, trade partners, and design professionals
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve business, technical and construction issues, including technical and design issues, operational challenges, work procedures, and potential customer concerns and complaints
