Appraiser, Senior

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing complete appraisal reports independently on complex properties, with oversight and review by senior staff.
• Conducting appraisals to establish market value of commercial properties.
• Making independent decisions and providing judgment in developing appraisals for complex properties.
• Inspecting properties and engaging directly in client meetings.
• Completing formal review responses and rebuttal letters as needed.
• Maintaining knowledge of current regulations, zoning laws, and appraisal standards.
• Understanding and utilizing all necessary software and data sources.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in real estate, economics, finance, or related field; MS or MBA preferred.
• State Certified General Appraiser License.
• 3-6 years of professional experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
• Proficiency in writing appraisal reports and reviews of complex properties.
• Knowledge of valuation concepts, real estate terminology, and property tax processes.
• Experience with Argus software.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
