• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience.
• Follow correct bagging procedures, provide carry‑out and parcel pickup service, load merchandise into customer vehicles, and return shopping carts to the store.

• Age 16 or older.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Language skills: read, write, and present information in English.
• Mathematical skills: add and subtract two‑digit numbers.
• Reasoning ability: apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations: complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk or hear, and smell; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift or move up to 40 lbs and reach from 6 to 72 inches; close vision and depth perception required.

• Pay transparency:
  Harris Teeter reasonably expects to pay between $15.25/hr and $18.75/hr for this role as a newly hired associate.
