The Grocery Clerk provides outstanding customer service, ensures product presentation meets Eddie’s standards, and supports department sales goals. This role requires engaging with customers, maintaining inventory, and assisting with merchandising and store upkeep.

• Greet customers warmly and assist with locating products or making recommendations.
• Answer customer inquiries politely and professionally.
• Follow through on customer requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Build positive relationships with customers.

• Stock, rotate, and dust products throughout the day.
• Maintain shelves and aisles according to Eddie’s standards for cleanliness, freshness, and variety.
• Perform product inventories and assist with product orders.
• Advise the department manager of low or unavailable stock items.
• Promote store events, holidays, and featured products.
• Dynamically sell products by providing information to customers.

• Check in deliveries and sign invoices as needed.
• Assist with merchandising and store upkeep.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth store operations.

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior retail or stocking experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to resolve customer concerns courteously.
• Ability to maintain appearance according to dress code.

$15 per hour
Compensation is based on years of relevant experience, demonstrated customer service ability, and overall ability to multitask.
