Inside Salesperson

Company Description Robnet Fasteners is a fastener distributor serving a wide range of industries. The team focuses on personalized service, helping customers identify the right parts, source hard-to-find items, and provide practical substitutions when time is critical.

Role Description The Inside Salesperson will work full-time on-site at Robnet’s Baltimore, MD location, engaging directly with customers to understand their fastening needs and provide product recommendations. Responsibilities include responding to inbound inquiries, generating and qualifying leads, preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, following up on opportunities, and supporting customer satisfaction through knowledgeable product guidance, problem-solving and communicating with customers to deliver a positive experience.

The Inside Salesperson will collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to confirm availability, coordinate substitutions if necessary.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales skills, including handling inbound inquiries, preparing quotes, and closing orders.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills to identify new opportunities and follow up with prospects.
• Candidates should possess Account Management skills to maintain and grow existing customer accounts.
• Knowledge of industrial products or fasteners, or experience in distribution or manufacturing, is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort speaking with customers by phone and email are required.
• Basic proficiency with CRM or sales management software and standard office applications preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Baltimore, MD, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
