Plumbing & HVAC Outside Sales Account Representative DC

R.F. Fager Supply, a trusted and long‑time distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and kitchen and bath products, is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will drive sales growth, develop and manage client relationships, and expand our reach by promoting plumbing fixtures and bathroom accessories. The ideal candidate has a customer‑first attitude, a positive sales approach, and thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

• Meet or exceed key performance metrics and sales goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, remodelers, contractors, wholesalers and design professionals.
• Conduct regular territory visits, customer meetings and product presentations.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects using Solar Eclipse and other tools.
• Generate accurate quotes and follow up to close sales.
• Coordinate closely with inside sales, purchasing and delivery teams to ensure seamless service.
• Deliver marketing materials, samples and small product orders when needed.
• Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends to provide expert guidance.
• Represent R.F. Fager with professionalism, integrity and a customer‑centric focus.

• Proven outside sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely.
• Background in home improvement, kitchen or bath related products strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree desired.
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (experience with Solar Eclipse is a plus).
• Self‑starter mindset with excellent follow through.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
• Growth‑minded with a passion for learning and sharing success strategies.
