Associate Director of the Immunogenetics Laboratory
The Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position for Associate Director of the Immunogenetics Laboratory. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and medical staff appointments in Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Responsibilities- Assist with the clinical, technical, educational, and administrative functions of the laboratory.
- Develop a clinical research program in collaboration with Immunogenetics faculty, transplant physicians, and surgeons.
- Provide histocompatibility testing for large and innovative programs in hematopoietic stem cell, kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, lung, and composite tissue transplantation.
Applicants must have an MD or PhD degree and must be a fellow or eligible to be a fellow of the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI). Candidates must meet or be eligible to meet the CMS requirements for technical supervisor, clinical consultant, and laboratory director in histocompatibility.

The indicated salary range is $143,000 - $225,000, based on experience and qualifications, and may vary within the specified range.
