Job Description

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor
, Part‑Time, Evening shift in Baltimore, Maryland. The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. He or she will supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Pay & Benefits

$23.80 an hour wage. Paid orientation, medical, dental and vision.

Vaccination Requirement

This site requires all applicants to be updated with COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Security experience – 1 year.
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
  • Licensing requirements may be subject to state or local law.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience and clean driving record.
  • Background investigation, post‑offer/pre‑employment drug and alcohol test required. Driver's record check may be required.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative wireless technology.
  • Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in various environments: cold weather, rain/snow or heat.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds and climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and work outside in all elements.
