A well-respected Regional Property Management firm that has been in business for over 30 years and has an expanding fee management portfolio on the East Coast is looking for resourceful, community‑minded team members.

We seek to fill several positions for Maintenance Technicians in the greater metropolitan area. The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and perform other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or Site Manager.

• Electrical – examine and repair electric circuits and components.
• Plumbing – repair and replace piping systems and fixtures, including opening clogged drains.
• A/C and heating systems.
• Appliances – examine, diagnose and repair all components of all major appliances.
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
• Tile, carpet, flooring.
• Roofing, gutters, fasteners.
• Interior/exterior lights.
• Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable).
• Shutters, doors, cabinets and windows.
• Boiler, gas and electric.
• Door locks.
• Security systems (where applicable).
• Ceiling leaks.
• Walls – repair damaged plaster/drywall surfaces of walls and ceilings, matching existing surfaces.
• Paint – repair and paint any areas required.
• Unit Turnovers (where applicable).

Qualification,

Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training in one or more trades preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years multi‑family maintenance experience required.
• Possess a basic understanding of principles and procedures of building maintenance.
• This job requires personal contact with residents.
• Proper conduct is essential at all times.
• Must maintain a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
