Boiler - Combustion Technician ( sign on bonus )

Key qualifications:

• Experience in assembling and repairing boiler structures, with the ability to follow detailed blueprints.
• Proficiency in inspecting and repairing boiler fittings such as safety valves and automatic-control mechanisms.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting temperature, pressure, and ampere gauges to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Expertise in testing electrical systems for voltage to diagnose potential malfunctions.
• Ability to observe and record operational parameters, including temperature and pressure, to maintain specified operations.
• Capability to troubleshoot and make repairs on boiler and auxiliary units, ensuring their efficient performance.
• Knowledge in testing boiler feed water and maintaining logs of meter readings and other essential data.
• Experience with automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, and steam pressure adjustments.
• Familiarity with steam systems, hydronic systems, and installation and maintenance of electrical components and wiring.
• Adherence to safety regulations and departmental policies while operating electrical equipment.
