Salary Range: $29.00 To $35.00 Hourly
Under the direction of the Fleet Manager the Mechanic is responsible for maintaining our fleet vehicles including diesel and gas ambulances, wheelchair vans, and standard automobiles. The Mechanic will work with a high level of autonomy and manage their day-to-day activities to meet organizational needs and ensure vehicles are operational ready. Our mechanics are self-motivated and able to work collaboratively as part of the team.
Our Woodlawn location is the home base for WLRC Medical fleet operations and responsible for new vehicle inventory for multi-state operations, including setting vehicles up for their respective jurisdictions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tire replacement and balancing, brakes, struts, ball joints, tie rod ends, axle shafts, shocks, alignments, etc.
- Troubleshooting and repairing of A/C and heating systems.
- General maintenance and repair.
- PM Inspections and road tests.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
