Stella Maris partners with the Jesuits and staffs the Colombiere Jesuit Retirement Facility on Roland Ave. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside dedicated clinicians to meet the needs of the fathers and brothers of the Jesuit Order. Qualified candidates will coordinate (planning, booking, travel arrangements, etc.) local trips for the men at the Jesuit Community including, but not limited to, trips to the museum, meal outings, celebratory activities, seminars and other enriching events. May at times also coordinate on-site activity that is recommended by the men in the facility that is either educational, recreational, or enhances community ties and/or relationships amongst each other.
EssentialFunctions
- Establish a committee which sole purpose is to obtain feedback from the men with regards to what activities, trips, etc. they would like to participate in. In order for the activity to be value-added it is important to ask for, and ascertain, consensus and feedback.
- Ensure there is a variety of activity that meets various educational, social and physical activity needs.
- Create a calendar of events that can be displayed and shared in the community to advertise various community events and/or trips. Create a mechanism (interview/survey) to determine if activity was value-added.
- Must work three days a week including one weekend day a month to ensure daily and/or weekend activities are appropriately facilitated and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree
- Minimum one to three years experience
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR Certification
