ASH Global Software is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our client’s engineering team in Washington, D.C.

This role requires someone who can lead a team, design and develop enterprise applications, and take full ownership of the project lifecycle—from architecture to deployment and post‑release support. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, strong in both Java and Angular, and experienced working in Agile environments.

Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Job Type: Contract (C2C / 1099)

Location: Washington, D.C. (Remote)

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–10+ developers
• Promote collaboration, best practices, and continuous improvement
• Technical Ownership
• Design and develop scalable full‑stack solutions using Spring Boot and Angular
• Lead architecture, coding, code reviews, and solution design
• End‑to‑End Delivery
• Manage the full SDLC: requirements, design, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring
• Agile Practices
• Participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Help break down epics into user stories and meet sprint goals
• Code Quality
• Enforce best practices, TDD/BDD, and maintain high code quality (e.g., Sonar Qube)
• Stakeholder Communication
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams and ensure alignment on technical deliverables

• 10+ years of software development
• Strong background as a Technical Lead or Team Lead
• Successful delivery of enterprise‑level applications

• REST API and microservices development
• Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong in performance tuning and distributed systems

• Angular 12+, Type Script, RxJS
• SPA development and UI/UX best practices
• Experience with component libraries

• Hibernate/JPA
• Nice to have:
