We are seeking a Principal Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex software applications supporting data-intensive and mission-critical environments. In this role, you will build scalable Java-based applications and services, integrate distributed technologies, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong Java and Spring Boot development experience with hands-on knowledge of distributed data systems, containerization, and modern CI/CD practices.

- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and twelve (12) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable is no degree and sixteen (16) years of relevant experience.
- Strong software development experience using Java.
- Hands-on experience developing applications and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience working with MongoDB or comparable database technologies.
- Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker.
- Experience with message-driven/distributed applications like Apache Kafka and Java Message Service (JMS).
- Experience deploying or supporting applications within Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery.
