Job Description

We’re partnering with a leading investment management firm that’s investing heavily in the modernization of its technology platform. This team is transforming legacy systems and building the next of cloud-enabled applications that support Risk Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Quantitative teams.

Location:

Baltimore, MD (Hybrid - 2 days onsite weekly)

Preference for local candidates within commuting distance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of software engineering experience developing applications with C#/.NET
Experience building and deploying cloud- solutions (AWS )
Strong knowledge of:

Distributed systems
API design and development
Backend architecture
Data-intensive applications
SQL

Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions
Commitment to engineering best practices including:

Automated testing
Code reviews
CI/CD
Observability

Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across engineering, product, and business teams
