Contract Hardware Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver / Loader Helper to join our warehouse and delivery team. In this dual-role position, you ll be responsible for operating a company box truck for material deliveries and providing hands-on assistance with loading and unloading at job sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move, working with a team, and playing a key role in supporting field operations on major multi-family construction projects.

We deliver turnkey services in Division 6 finish carpentry, Division 8 doors and frames, Division 10 specialty products, and Division 12 window treatments across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. • Operate company box truck for scheduled deliveries to job sites.
• Load and unload materials with care and accuracy to avoid damage.
• Assist team members and warehouse staff with moving and staging materials.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery contents and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team and field personnel.
• Support job site activities as needed, including lifting, staging, and minor material handling.

• Minimum 3 years of professional box truck or delivery driving experience.
• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs regularly).
• Strong attention to safety procedures and detail.
• Punctual, reliable, and organized.
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes in the MD/DC/VA area is a plus.

• Base Salary: $50,000 per year
