Procurement Merchandise Manager

Commercial Ownership. Product Strategy. Revenue Impact.

At Clearhill, we are looking for a commercially minded Procurement & Merchandise Manager to take ownership of one of the most influential functions within the business.

This is not a traditional procurement role focused purely on purchasing and stock control.

This is a role for someone who understands products, customer behaviour, commercial performance and how the right buying decisions directly influence revenue growth.

You will lead procurement, merchandise performance, inventory strategy and warehouse operations across the business, helping shape what customers engage with, what products perform best and how the business scales commercially.

You will have genuine autonomy to make decisions, test ideas, optimise ranges and drive measurable commercial impact within a fast-moving SME environment where your work will be highly visible.

Why This Role Is Different

You will play a central role in driving:

  • Revenue growth through smarter product selection
  • Customer engagement through high-performing merchandise
  • Leaner inventory management and stronger cash efficiency
  • Improved supplier performance and commercial negotiation
  • Operational efficiency across procurement and warehouse functions

This is an opportunity to step into a commercially influential position where procurement is viewed as a growth driver, not simply a support function.

Why Join Clearhill?

Clearhill operates within a unique and exciting industry where product performance, customer engagement and operational efficiency all directly influence business growth.

You will join a collaborative and ambitious team environment where:

  • Your decisions genuinely matter
  • You will have real ownership and autonomy
  • New ideas are encouraged and acted upon quickly
  • You can see the direct results of your work
  • Procurement has a visible impact on commercial performance

Alongside this, the business offers:

  • Performance-related bonus structure
  • Long-term growth opportunity
  • A varied, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Commercial Buying & Merchandise Performance

  • Managing and optimising product ranges across merchandise-driven machines
  • Identifying high-performing products and scaling successful ranges
  • Removing underperforming products based on data and customer behaviour
  • Driving customer engagement and revenue through commercial product decisions

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
  • Improving supplier performance, pricing and reliability
  • Building strong supplier partnerships that support growth and operational efficiency

  • Analysing performance data through Excel and ERP systems
  • Monitoring KPIs across revenue, stock performance and inventory efficiency
  • Using data and commercial insight to influence decision-making

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Managing merchandise and parts inventory levels across the business
  • Balancing product availability with lean stock principles and cash efficiency
  • Improving stock control, forecasting and inventory accuracy

Warehouse Leadership

  • Leading warehouse operations through the Warehouse Team
  • Ensuring effective stock flow, organisation and operational performance
  • Driving accuracy and efficiency across warehouse activities

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying opportunities to improve procurement, warehouse and inventory processes
  • Driving operational improvements that support commercial performance and scalability

Team Structure

You will lead the Procurement function, including:

  • Procurement Executive
  • Warehouse Operatives

You will also work closely with:

  • Field Service
  • Finance
