About This RoleJob Summary
Apex is seeking a Product Manager II to own the entire Investor Communications and documents product within the Ascend Platform. You will be responsible end to end — from requirements gathering through defining and achieving your product's success metrics — for all investor-facing regulated and transactional communications, including statements, trade confirmations, tax documents, and proxy/shareholder materials. You will manage the product backlog independently, with guidance, strategic steer, and escalation support from the Senior Product Manager, and work closely with other Product Managers across the Ascend Platform on related initiatives.
You will write clear requirements, coordinate with Engineering, and work with document generation and delivery vendors to ship accurate, timely, audit-ready communications for our B2B2C clients and their end investors. AI tools (e.g., Claude) are a core part of how you'll work: gathering and synthesizing requirements, prototyping concepts, and standing up MVP products and operational tooling to move faster from problem to working software.
You'll partner with Compliance, Operations, and adjacent product teams to resolve dependencies and bring customer insight back into the roadmap.
- End-to-end product ownership
- Own the entire Investor Communications and documents product end to end: gather and write requirements, prioritize and manage the backlog, ship features, and define and drive the success metrics that prove it worked.
- Write PRDs and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for medium-to-large features; communicate status to the team and stakeholders independently.
- Work closely with other Product Managers across the Ascend Platform to align on shared standards, dependencies, and timing.
- AI-assisted requirements, prototyping, and MVP delivery
- Use AI tools (e.g., Claude) to gather and synthesize requirements from stakeholders, transcripts, tickets, and documentation.
