INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Foreman

Project – Commercial

Job Location – Galway

Salary – €65K-€70K + travel

About the Company

Working with a very reputable Main Contractor who boast a broad portfolio of works across residential, commercial and educational industry sectors.

They have recently secured a new contract for a large commercial project in Galway City and require a strong Foreman to work alongside the Site Manager and drive on site delivery of the project.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of an industrial development
• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Attend and lead meetings with Senior Management to update them on the progress of the project.
• Act as a point of contact for local authorities.
• Assist with weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings.
• Updating the site diary according to works done.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure works completed are accurate.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years proven experience managing commercial projects is essential.

• Trades background is preferred or similar construction management qualification.
• Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
