The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join our growing consultancy team in Banbridge.
You will lead on cost management from feasibility through to final account, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and design teams across multiple projects.
What you’ll be doing- Leading pre- and post-contract cost management on a portfolio of projects.
- Preparing cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Advising on procurement routes and contract strategies.
- Managing tender processes, analysis and recommendations.
- Administering contracts, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Providing clear cost reporting and advice at each project stage.
- Contributing to value engineering and risk management workshops.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Undertaking occasional travel to project sites throughout Ireland and the UK.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Significant PQS / consultancy experience, ideally at senior level.
- Chartered (MRICS) or working towards chartership.
- Strong technical understanding of pre- and post-contract QS services.
- Excellent communication, client-facing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally across Ireland and the UK.
