IT Support Engineer

Position Overview

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an IT Engineer to provide technical support for computer systems, AV, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Responsibilities include installing and configuring hardware and software components, performing system maintenance and updates, ensuring system security and data protection, and communicating effectively with IT professionals and end‑users.

• Provide first‑line contact to clients via phone, email, remote access, and on‑site visits.
• Diagnose and support clients’ technical issues with hardware, software, network, and internet connectivity.
• Maintain the current technology infrastructure to ensure reliability, optimization, and suitability.
• Maintain infrastructure resilience, backup, and recovery.
• Deliver a high‑quality, business‑focused IT support service in line with agreed SLAs.
• Ensure the technology infrastructure remains secure, working closely with regional teams.
• Monitor network changes and deliver new or modified technology solutions.
• Plan for disaster recovery to keep the company functional during crises.
• Manage budgets and ensure cost‑effectiveness in procurement and management of equipment and IT services.
• Support the agreed IT strategy and corporate goals.
• Identify and develop opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Experience in an IT Engineer/Technician role.
• Clear and effective communication at all organizational levels and across varying technical expertise.
• Proven ability to work within defined measures of success.
• An analytical and pragmatic problem‑solving focus.
• Self‑motivation and decisiveness, with adaptability to change and competing demands.

• Degree in Information Technology or related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Recognized professional IT qualifications or relevant experience.
• ITIL qualification (preferable).
• Experience with Windows 10 and Active Directory.
• Experience with the O365 suite of applications and tools.
• Experience with WAN technologies such as MPLS, site‑to‑site VPN, SD‑WAN, internet breakout, and web filtering technologies.
