? We are working with a highly respected and growing accountancy firm in Banbury that is seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team.

. - Flexible Working: Core hours between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

- Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience), plus benefits including pension, healthcare, and car allowance.
- Conduct audits and prepare financial statements
, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Work closely with clients
, providing expert financial insights and tax planning advice. - Review and prepare client accounts and business tax computations to a high standard.
- Lead and supervise audit assignments
, either remotely or at client sites. - Support and mentor junior staff
, ensuring they develop their technical and professional skills. - Use leading accounting software
, including Xero, Sage 50, and other cloud-based platforms.
- ACA / ACCA fully or part-qualified (or AAT qualified).
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accountancy practice, ideally in audit and accounts preparation
. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and provide proactive client solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to build strong client relationships. - A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel to client sites are required for audit work.
- Experience using Xero, Sage 50, and other accounting software is a plus.
- Initial video screening (for shortlisted candidates).
- First-stage Teams interview with hiring managers.
- Online technical skills assessment
. - Final face-to-face interview with the option of an informal team lunch to meet colleagues.
