Key Responsibilities- Support children with their learning, tailoring your approach to meet their communication needs.
- Help pupils build confidence in their speech, language, and social interactions.
- Use specialist communication tools, such as Makaton and PECS.
- Help develop independence, preparing students for life beyond school.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating achievements.
