We are seeking 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic engineering students to join our Chassis and Engine Design team for a 12‑month industrial placement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in either our Chassis or Powertrain Design team, working on cutting‑edge projects that contribute to our motor sport programs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of components and systems for high-performance vehicles.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed models and drawings.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and design reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs seamlessly.
- Participate in testing and validation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions.
- Currently studying for an accredited Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related degree program.
- Strong interest in motor sport and high-performance engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Basic understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of technical drawing standards and tolerancing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development.
