Finance Assistant - Leading Automotive Brand | North Oxfordshire | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

I'm working with a market-leading automotive company based in North Oxfordshire to recruit an experienced Finance Assistant to join their busy and high-performing finance team. This role will start on a temporary basis with the strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

As the successful Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role within one of the company's busiest divisions, taking ownership of core Accounts Payable activities while supporting the wider finance team with month-end processes and reporting.

• Process all invoices accurately, ensuring they are correctly matched to purchase orders and updated on the ERP system.
• Manage supplier account set-ups and perform regular supplier statement reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Review and manage open purchase orders, including GRNI.
• Support weekly and urgent payment requests.
• Assist the Management Accountant and Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial duties.

• Previous experience within a fast-paced Accounts Payable environment is essential.
• Confident user of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Capable of producing both financial and non-financial reports.
• An AAT qualification (or currently studying) is advantageous.
• Proactive, organised, and eager to develop within a leading business.
