Corporate Tax Manager

My client, a Top 100 accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to lead and develop their Corporate Tax compliance and advisory team. This senior role involves managing a portfolio of clients (typically £50m–£100m turnover), delivering complex corporate tax advice, and driving team performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a high-performing corporate tax team.

• Oversee corporate tax compliance and complex advisory projects.

• Act as technical lead across areas including capital allowances, CIR, losses, transfer pricing, share schemes, VAT, R&D reliefs, and M&A.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.

• Drive operational efficiency, workflow management, and adoption of technology.

• Support business development and wider firm initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified.

• Strong experience in corporate tax within a practice environment.

• Strong compliance review, advisory, and client-facing experience.

• Proven team leadership and staff development skills.

• Excellent technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and communication skills.

• Experience in a Top 50 accountancy practice preferred.
