Stores Operative

Overview

Are you an excellent multi‑tasker with a keen eye for detail? Do you keep several things in your head at once and enjoy being busy with a number of tasks that bring clear positive results? If so, you may be interested in this role with our client, a specialist manufacturer in the Banbury area.

As a Stores Operative you will be the lynchpin between customers and production. Day to day, your job will involve:

• Responsibility for goods inwards and delivery around the site using an FLT
• Maintaining in‑house engineering stores (spare parts, consumables, etc.)
• Updating the SAP system, in‑house QC records and other paperwork as needed

• A good level of computer and numeric literacy – MS Excel and or SAP systems in particular
• Experience working within a manufacturing supply chain, ideally in a parts / stores / inventory, consumables type function

In return for fulfilling the role of Stores Operative our client can offer excellent long‑term prospects as a result of both their full order book and their being part of a wider group with no barriers to internal moves and promotions. The role also comes with a salary of up to £30,000.
