Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Paint Sprayer to join a busy manufacturing company in Banbury.

The company manufactures components for the construction industry, and this is a great opportunity for someone who is hands‑on, practical and keen to learn a new skill within a manufacturing environment.

Full training will be provided, so previous paint spraying experience is not essential. The successful candidate will learn how to prepare and spray components to a high-quality finish while working safely and efficiently.

THE ROLE

As a Trainee Paint Sprayer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing manufactured components ready for painting
  • Learning how to spray a range of components to the required standard
  • Applying paint evenly and accurately following training and instructions
  • Checking finished parts for quality and consistency
  • Following painting procedures and health & safety requirements
  • Keeping the work area clean and organised
  • Working to production targets and required quality standards
  • Reporting any quality issues or defects
  • Working as part of a team while also being able to work independently once trained
REQUIREMENTS

Previous paint spraying experience is not required, but the ideal candidate will:

  • Be hands‑on and practical
  • Be keen to learn a new skill
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Take pride in producing quality work
  • Have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be able to follow instructions and work to set procedures
  • Have a good attitude towards learning and development
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is initially a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
