Leaving Care Personal Advisor

Banbury, Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
Pay: £20.46–£21.83 per hour PAYE / £27.27–£29.10 per hour Umbrella

Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Octave Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor to join Oxfordshire County Council's Children We Care for and Leaving Care Service.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support care-experienced young people aged 16–25 as they transition into adulthood, helping them build independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a caseload of young people and develop and review Pathway Plans.

* Support young people with housing, education, employment, finances and independent living.

* Advocate for young people and liaise with partner agencies to access the right support.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure young people's needs and aspirations remain central to their plans.

Requirements:

* Experience in social care, youth work, housing, education or a related support role.

* Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.

* Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively with other professionals.

* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required.

Additional Information:

* Based at Samuelson House, Banbury.

* Hybrid working, with a requirement to attend an Oxfordshire County Council office three days per week.

* Enhanced DBS check required.

* Initial contract until 31 December 2026, with a planned start date of 26 October 2026.
