HGV 1 Driver Nights

Job Title: Class 1 Driver / LGV 1 Driver / HGV 1 Driver / CE Driver - Nights

Shifts: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday

Location: Banbury

Contract Type: On-going

Are you looking for on-going night work? If so we may have the perfect position for you.

You will be required to carry out deliveries to major NDC sites throughout the UK. No handballing involved. You must also be willing to cover shunting duties when required. IMMEDIATE STARTS available for drivers who are able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Candidates must live within a 30 minute commute of Banbury.

• Must hold a UK HGV 1 UK driving licence
• Must have held a category CE licence for at least 2 years
• Must have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years
• Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
• Hold a valid CPC DQC
• Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
• Experience using refrigerated units would be an advantage
• Experience of carrying out shunting duties would be an advantage

£17.50p.h for first 44hrs worked, £26.25p.h over 44hrs

Additional Night shift allowance of £9.46 per shift
