Van Driver – White Goods Delivery & Installation

Vehicle: 3.5T Van

We are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join a busy delivery operation in Banbury on a temporary, ongoing basis.

The role involves delivering white goods directly to customers’ homes and assisting with the installation of appliances. This is a physically demanding role, so you must be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.

Full training on the use of the tail lift will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver white goods to customers across planned routes

• Safely load and unload appliances from a 3.5T van

• Assist with the installation of white goods

• Use a tail lift safely following training

• Provide professional and friendly customer service

• Complete delivery paperwork and follow company procedures

• Carry out manual handling of heavy appliances

Requirements:

• Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes

• Minimum 2 years’ UK driving experience

• Full UK driving licence

• Maximum 5 points on your licence

• Current DVLA Licence Check Summary or valid check code

• 5-year declaration of accidents and insurance claims

• Copy of driving licence – front and back

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Reliable and comfortable working long days
