Job opportunity for English Teacher - English 1 - Bandung Banda at English 1 (HS Group) in KOTA BANDUNG, JAWA BARAT, Indonesia.
Kualifikasi Position SummaryThe Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality lessons using English 1's branded content and methodologies. They will ensure learner satisfaction through engaging instruction, effective classroom management, and adherence to English 1's teaching standards. Additional responsibilities include course administration, student progress tracking, parental communication, and supporting center events or marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities Teaching & Student Engagement- Deliver high-quality English lessons following English 1's curriculum and methodologies
- Prepare lesson materials and classroom equipment in advance
- Begin and end classes on time; be in the class 5 minutes before the start time
- Utilize audio/video materials and incorporate technology into lessons
- Develop and use supplementary teaching materials as needed
- Monitor student progress, administer assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Ensure students understand and follow safety and behavior policies
- Maintain up-to-date student and doss records
- Assist with student placement testing
- Provide demo lessons and participate in promotional activities as required
- Support center events, including extracurricular activities, tutorials, and social events
- Substitute for absent colleagues when necessary
- Assist with marketing initiatives and the induction of new sales and teaching staff
- Keep teaching materials and resources organized and in good condition
- Adhere to English 1's administrative procedures and policies
- Bachelor's degree (any field)
- Strong English proficiency is a must (minimum advanced level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willing to be placed in English 1 Bandung Banda
- Experience teaching students aged 3-18 years old
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
- Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
