The Vice Principal is responsible for ensuring that the school’s academic programs, administrative systems, and daily operations are implemented with quality, consistency, accountability, and care. This role oversees curriculum implementation, teaching and learning quality, assessment and reporting, teacher development, school routines, academic administration, and operational coordination in alignment with GIGS’ Spiritual, Green, and Global vision.
The Vice Principal acts as a bridge between school leadership, teachers, academic development, administrative staff, students, parents, and the foundation. The role requires strong educational leadership, organizational skills, communication, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Minimum Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, School Management, or a relevant field.

Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian, both oral and written.
Specific Requirements5 years of experience in teaching, academic coordination, school leadership, or educational management.
Strong understanding of curriculum implementation, pedagogy, lesson planning, assessment, reporting, classroom management, and teacher development.
Able to supervise, mentor, and support teachers in improving instructional quality.
Able to coordinate academic programs, school schedules, documentation, meetings, school routines, and daily school operations.
Strong administrative, organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
Able to lead teams, solve problems, manage conflict, and make evidence-informed decisions.
Experience with Cambridge curriculum or in an international school settings.
Able to communicate professionally with teachers, staff, students, parents, school leadership, and Foundation representatives.
Open to feedback, reflective, adaptive, and committed to lifelong learning.
