Job Description Summary
Responsible for optimizing the performance, lifespan, and safety of facility assets and equipment. Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and safety hazards before they occur, developing strategies to mitigate risks, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze leading indicators & execute actions to improve machine reliability (CBM, MTBF, MTTR) for critical machines such as vacuum furnace, coating cell, shot peen, cold spray, compressor, chemical stripping and blasting.
- Accelerate systemic improvement of equipment lifespan, performing maintenance activities focused on strengthening the 7 pillars of TPM.
- Partner with EHS to assess machine safety risk and drive initiatives to reduce the highest RPN.
- Lead sustainability initiatives, develop & maintain sustainability roadmap in partnership with EHS, and create initiatives aligned with business goals (e.g., carbon reduction, water conservation, recycling, utility optimization).
- Lead kaizen events monthly, quarterly or annually, and track and report sustainability metrics (KPIs).
- Conduct heatmap, risk assessment, and regular HAZOP for machine safety with applicable standards.
- Ensure safe machine design for upcoming, new, or modified machines.
- Lead incident investigations (RCA, FMEA, 5W+1H) and act to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with HSE team to train staff on safe operating procedures and promote a zero-harm culture.
- Act as deputy for Maintenance Manager & EHS Manager in case of absence/leave/training.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or engineering (minimum).
- At least 4 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or process safety engineering in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environment.
- Experience in Maintenance, Reliability, Process Engineering, and/or HSE field specialist and advisor.
- Proficiency in machinery, mechanical/electrical systems, automation, reading blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in reliability software.
- Certifications (preferred): recognized occupational safety certificate (government, in-house, AK3 Umum, etc.).
- Strong diagnostic abilities (troubleshoot 5S, Fishbone, 7
Ways, etc.). - Excellent teamwork, communication, ability to work under pressure.
- Willing to stay in Bandung City.
