About the role

Asia Pulp and Paper is seeking an experienced Officer, Procurement to join our dynamic team in Bandung, West Java. This is a full-time position based in our Bandung facility. As Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement operations and supply chain activities. This position is essential to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods and services that support our manufacturing operations.

You will work directly with internal stakeholders, vendors and suppliers to optimise our procurement processes and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Identifying, evaluating and selecting qualified suppliers and vendors to meet company procurement requirements

Preparing and issuing purchase orders, specifications and tender documents in accordance with company policies and procedures

Negotiating contracts, pricing and payment terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for money

Monitoring supplier performance, quality standards and delivery schedules to ensure compliance with agreements

Managing inventory levels and coordinating with operations teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities

Maintaining accurate procurement records, documentation and databases to support audit trails and reporting

Resolving procurement-related issues, discrepancies and disputes with suppliers in a timely manner

Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations and ethical standards in all procurement activities

Collaborating with finance, operations and other departments to support business objectives

Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management within the manufacturing .

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management and supplier relationship management

Proficiency in using procurement software SAP, ERP , E-Bidding systems and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent negotiation skills and ability to achieve cost savings whilst maintaining quality standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials used in the pulp and paper industry is advantageous

Basic Knowledge On ISO , PEPF is a Plus
