Quality & Digitalization Manager

The Quality & Digitalization Manager will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control across the entire plant. The role involves leading a team of production members within the quality functions, driving quality metrics, and partnering with multiple functions to deliver quality products to our customers with a lean mindset.

• Drive achievement of quality metrics for the plant
• Manage a team of product quality engineers, quality assurance specialists, and quality inspectors
• Develop and implement strategies to foster a proactive quality culture
• Identify, prioritize, budget, and plan resources for quality activities that support business objectives
• Initiate and lead CAPA for root cause analysis (RCA)
• Drive process or product qualification and support CoPQ recovery
• Lead quality improvement programs and provide process control across the organization
• Communicate key business and customer issues to leadership, staff, and employees
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership to assigned personnel
• Execute QMS and compliance requirements associated with the plant
• Drive risk mitigation initiatives (e.g., FMEA) and problem‑solving using methodologies like 8D
• Lead audit efforts for site certifications such as ISO:9001
• Resolve quality defects in collaboration with offsite engineering and act as liaison to internal and external customers
• Manage the structured OJT and skill certification scheme for production members
• Support process improvement through digitalization, simplification, and management of dashboards and digital asset tools
• Lead the execution of the plant’s digitalization manufacturing roadmap
• Apply Lean tools to streamline processes and increase product quality (e.g., Quality‑at‑the‑Source, Management of Change)
• Develop and maintain communication strategies across the organization for business and quality performance (all‑hands meetings, newsletters, quality read‑across)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Materials, Metallurgical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines);
  Master’s Degree is a plus
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in manufacturing quality management with expertise in technical areas, program management, compliance, and general product quality
• Experience in continuous improvement concepts and implementation in quality settings
• Experience leading teams and delivering measurable business results
• Intermediate proficiency in English (daily communication with foreign colleagues)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality frameworks
• Lean Six Sigma experience is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to stay in Bandung
