The Precious Metals Analyst conducts metal testing and purity analysis of gold and silver in accordance with the testing methods and procedures established by the company. The role ensures that all products meet applicable Indonesian National Standards (SNI), including SNI 8880 for gold products and SNI 0319 for silver products, and that waste generated from production processes complies with quality standards and does not contain precious metals.
Keyresponsibilities
Conduct metal testing and purity analysis of gold and silver in accordance with the testing methods and procedures established by the company
Ensure that all products meet the applicable Indonesian National Standards (SNI), including SNI 8880 for gold products and SNI 0319 for silver products
Ensure that waste generated from production processes complies with quality standards and does not contain precious metals, particularly gold and silver
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (Testing and Calibration Laboratories)
Maintain proper inventory control, housekeeping, and workplace organization in accordance with the 5S methodology, including laboratory equipment and machinery
About youMinimum education Diploma in Chemical Analysis or a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Analysis or a related field
Previous experience in the gold manufacturing or precious metals industry is preferred
Demonstrates high integrity, honesty, and accountability in carrying out responsibilities
Strong understanding of gold and silver identification, testing, and analysis processes
Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and analytical equipment, including ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry), XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry), and Analytical Balances
Possesses strong communication, analytical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills
Training or certification in ISO/IEC 17025 is an advantage
