PT ABISHAR TECHNOLOGIES INDONESIA is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team on a contract basis

, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions that drive business value and operational excellence. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects whilst working with cutting-edge enterprise resource planning technologies.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and solutions tailored to client requirements

Analyse business processes and translate them into technical ABAP specifications and solutions

Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and documentation

Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing ABAP applications to improve performance and user experience

Develop and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions and configurations

Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing

Support the implementation of SAP enhancements and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 4+ years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP developer or consultant

Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and object-oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)

Solid understanding of SAP module landscapes, including SD, MM, FI, HR, or other relevant modules

Experience with SAP Net Weaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5 technologies

Proven expertise in developing reports, interfaces, and extensions using ABAP

Knowledge of SAP data dictionary, function modules, and advanced ABAP concepts such as BADI, enhancements, and modifications

Experience with SAP implementation projects and the ability to work within implementation methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication abilities in English;
Indonesian language skills are advantageous

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Certification in SAP ABAP or related SAP qualifications would be beneficial
