Forward-deployed engineering is where our product meets a plant that has runits own way for thirty years. You write code, but you write it sitting near thepeople who will use it, against data that nobody cleaned for you.

Three people today. We are the shortest path between what a plant actuallyneeds and what gets built, and we are expected to say so plainly when the twodo not match.

This role is deliberately two jobs that most companies keep apart.

The first is engineering: integrating with whatever a plant already runs,shaping their messy historical data into something we graph can hold, and building the glue that makes a pilot work in weeks rather than quarters.

The second is narrative. After a pilot, someone has to explain to a plantdirector, and to the next prospect, what changed and why it mattered. Thatmeans building the deck, the demo, and the before-and-after story yourself,from the evidence you gathered. We are asking for someone who has done thisbefore and is good at it, because handing it to a marketer who was not thereproduces a deck nobody believes.

• Integrate our platform with the systems a plant already runs: historians, CMMS, ERP, spreadsheets, and paper
• Write ingest and transformation code against real, inconsistent operational data
• Build demos and prototypes fast enough to be useful inside a live customer conversation
• Turn each deployment into a clear, honest story: deck, numbers, and screen recordings
• Present that story to plant leadership alongside our founders
• Bring product gaps back to the core engineering team with evidence, not anecdotes
• Leave behind documentation the customer's own team can actually use

• Three or more years writing production software, comfortable across the stack
• Strong Python or Type Script, and confident with SQL and messy data
• You have built pitch decks or customer-facing narratives before. Please attach one you are proud of, redacted as needed
• Able to hold a room of plant engineers and managers without hiding behind jargon
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and working English; you will present in both
• Willing to travel to sites across Java, roughly a week a month
• Comfortable being the only technical person in the room
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or logistics software
• Solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, or consulting background
• Data visualisation skills that survive being projected in a meeting room
• You have worked at a startup early enough to have written the deck and the code

We benchmark against Jakarta and Bandung senior engineering rates, and reviewannually. This role carries equity. Site travel is fully covered. The band isnegotiable and discussed openly on the first call. We will not ask what you currently earn.

• Intro call, 30 minutes. Your background, and an honest picture of what a deployment week looks like.
• Work review, 60 minutes. We go through a deck or customer artefact you made, and a piece of code you wrote.
• Live scenario, 90 minutes. A real plant dataset and a real question from a past pilot. You work it through with us. No whiteboard algorithms.
• Plant visit, half a day. You come with us to a site and meet the team on real ground.
• Offer. Usually within two weeks of the first call.
