Job Summary

The Senior Executive Bookkeeping and MIS will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely monthly closures, and effective MIS reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in reconciliations, and the ability to collaborate across teams to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accruals accounting and ensure timely and accurate posting of expenses.

• Handle intercompany transactions and perform regular intercompany reconciliations.

• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Manage and maintain accounting records in Tally ERP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

• Execute monthly book closures within defined timelines.

• Conduct analytical review of expenses, identify variances, and provide insights to management.

• Perform reconciliations for:

- Vendors
- Fixed costs
- Marketing and promotional expenses

• Support overall accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and audit support.

• Assist in preparation of MIS reports and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices

• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP

• Proficiency in reconciliations and financial analysis

• Good understanding of intercompany accounting and accrual concepts
