Assistant Manager - Accounting & Tax

Taxation & Compliance :
Support taxation activities (income tax, GST, and indirect taxes) as needed.
Accounting Operations :
Manage core accounting functions including accounts payable, journal entries, ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
Financial Reporting :
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Team Management :
Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring effective delegation, guidance, and performance management.
Process Improvement :
Review and enhance accounting processes for efficiency and compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination :
Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required.

Key Requirements:

Education :
Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. CA
- Inter/CMA will be preferred.
Experience :
Minimum  7+ years  of experience in accounting and taxation.
Technical Skills :
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, journal entries, ledger accounting, and other core accounting concepts. Familiarity with tax laws and financial regulations.
Team Management :
Proven experience in handling and mentoring teams.
Soft Skills :
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Background from consulting/Client accounting will be an added advantage.
