Tax Accountant

About the Role:

As a  Tax Accountant – UK & Americas , you will support corporate tax compliance, reporting, and governance across both regions. You’ll prepare UK tax computations, coordinate US filings, assist with tax accounting, and contribute to advisory work while developing strong technical and international tax skills.

What You’ll Be Doing :
Preparation of UK Tax computations / returns and quarterly instalment payment calculations prepared in house using Alphatax software
Assist with internal and external tax accounting and tax reporting including tax accounting disclosures for UK statutory accounts
Senior Accounting Officer compliance
Potential to support where required with other UK tax matters – VAT, employment taxes
Ad hoc tax advisory work
Working with external tax compliance provider, deliver financial data for the US tax return compliance cycle for Federal, State and other local corporate income tax compliance and payments
Assisting with the annual cycle of internal and external tax accounting and tax reporting
Support with Sales/Use tax compliance across the US group
Ad hoc tax advisory work

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified ACA/ATT or equivalent.

Experience with accounting and tax accounting

Experience with UK or USA Taxes is desirable
Proficient with Excel and any experience with ERP systems/accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisation skills
Proven ability to pick up new areas of work quickly and ability to self-motivate
Excellent communication skills and desire to interact at all levels across a global organisation
Pro-active with a “can do” attitude to tasks and issues that arise
Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
