Val Datum Technologies Private Limited is an India-based Fin Ops consultancy delivering high-impact offshore accounting and analytics services to US mid-market clients. We currently serve clients in behavioral healthcare, restaurant groups, and hospitality — and we are growing fast.

We have 2 immediate opening for an Accountant who is equally comfortable with debits and data.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
─────────────────────────────

→ Full-cycle US GAAP accounting — GL management, bank reconciliations, intercompany, and month-end close
→ Prepare client-ready reports in Excel with advanced formulas and Power Query
→ Work inside Quick Books Online, Sage Intacct, and Restaurant
365
→ Process payroll data via Paylocity and POS reconciliations via Toast
→ Support Power BI reporting with DAX measures and data model inputs
→ Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and increase throughput
→ Join client calls with US-based finance leadership — strong English is required

MUST-HAVE SKILLS
─────────────────────────────

✔ 3–4 years of US accounting experience (client-facing preferred)
✔ Proficiency in Quick Books Online and/or Sage Intacct (mandatory)
✔ Advanced Excel: XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, M Code, DAX basics
✔ Strong written and verbal English communication — non-negotiable
✔ Comfort with cloud-based, multi-entity accounting environments
✔ Working knowledge of AI tools (even basic prompt usage counts)

→ Prior experience in a US CPA firm or offshore finance team
