Senior Accountant

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a Sustainable Packaging Startup

Job Profile:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Handle GST, TDS, statutory filings, and audit coordination.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations.
Monitor cash flow and financial transactions for accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and internal departments.
Lead and support junior accounting staff.
Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.

Senior Accountant Requirements:
Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
4–6 years of relevant accounting experience in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
