Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant / Accounts & Compliance Executive who will own the end-to-end accounting and statutory compliance function ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, payroll, taxation, GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
This is a high-ownership role requiring independence, attention to detail, and strong execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance Operations
Manage end-to-end accounting activities (GL, AP, AR, reconciliations)
Maintain books of accounts and ensure monthly closing
Prepare MIS reports, balance sheet schedules, and management reports
Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and bank reconciliations
Support cash flow tracking and financial planning inputs
Statutory Compliance
Manage GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations)
Handle TDS calculations, filings, and Form 16 generation
Ensure compliance with EPF, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements
Coordinate with external CA for audits and annual filings
Payroll Management
End-to-end payroll processing
Salary calculations, reimbursements, and full & final settlements
Employee tax declarations and payroll compliance reporting
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with external auditors and tax consultants
Maintain compliance documentation and statutory records
Provide financial data and insights to management as required
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory
4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, and payroll compliance
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / similar)
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups, data handling)
Strong understanding of Indian accounting and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with the MS Office 365 suite.
Preferred Qualifications
M.Com / MBA Finance
Exposure to working with external CA firms
Experience in handling multi-entity businesses
Soft Skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong ownership mindset
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
