Position: Lead Accountant (Qualified CA/CMA with Costing Experience)

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Controllership professional with strong  costing and cloud asset accounting  expertise. This role will own and improve global OCI cloud asset processes, ensuring accurate costing, capitalization, cost allocation, reporting, data integrity, and internal controls.
The role will partner with GCO, LOBs, finance, technology, and project teams to drive standardization, automation, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Own global OCI cloud asset accounting, costing, reporting, and control processes.
Drive accurate asset costing, including capitalization, cost allocation, depreciation inputs, cost tracking, and lifecycle cost analysis.
Develop and maintain costing methodologies, allocation models, and reporting for cloud infrastructure assets.
Analyse cost trends and variances; identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved financial visibility.
Support general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, ledger close, and financial reporting.
Design, test, and monitor internal controls across asset accounting, costing, and reporting processes.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement accounting, costing, automation, data, and AI-related requirements.
Drive process standardization, system optimization, automation, and data-quality improvements.
Lead moderately complex projects and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory
12+ years of experience in Finance, Controllership, Accounting Operations, Cost Accounting, or Cloud Asset Governance.
CA or CMA qualification with 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong hands-on experience in  cost accounting, asset costing, capitalization, cost allocation, depreciation, and variance analysis .
Strong understanding of general ledger, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany accounting, close, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of OCI environments and Cloud Asset Lifecycle Management.
Experience in process governance, internal controls, control design, testing, and validation.
Strong analytical, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred

Experience with Oracle financial systems, cloud infrastructure finance, or technology asset accounting.
Exposure to cloud cost management, cost optimization, automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience working with global finance, controllership, or shared-services teams.
