Role Description  The Audit Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Audit Assistant will support audit engagements by reviewing financial statements, assisting in the preparation of audit reports, and performing test checks in line with internal and statutory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and organizing financial data, verifying documentation, coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards.

The role also involves contributing to audit work papers, identifying discrepancies or potential risk areas, and supporting senior auditors with analysis and follow-up. The Audit Assistant is expected to maintain accurate records, adhere to timelines, and uphold the firm’s quality and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret and work with core financial data.
Experience or training in Financial Audits and preparation or review of Audit Reports.
Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying variances, trends, and potential compliance issues.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software; familiarity with audit tools is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Interest in corporate regulatory, compliance, and governance work; prior internship or experience in audit or consulting is a plus.
