Role Description The Article Trainee will work full time on-site at the Bengaluru office, supporting chartered accountants in audit, taxation, and accounting assignments. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers and documentation, and verifying financial records. The trainee will help with bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, and compliance-related filings under relevant tax and company laws. The role also involves conducting basic research on accounting and tax issues, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with clients for required information.
The position is designed to provide structured practical training aligned with professional qualification requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should be registered as CA students (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per applicable regulations) and eligible for articleship training.
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, taxation concepts, and basic corporate law.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software will be beneficial.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to analyze financial data accurately.
Willingness to learn, adapt to structured training, and manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information.
Preference for candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru for on-site work.
