Job Description

Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and online help resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to gather and understand complex technical information about various product features.
Translate intricate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain documentation style guides and standardized typographies to maintain consistency across all materials.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively communicate complex subjects to a diverse audience.
Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
Collaborate in user testing and gather feedback to refine documentation and user guides for optimal usability.
Act as a subject matter expert in technical writing tools and methodologies, contributing to the improvement of documentation processes.

Skills And Expertise

Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and convert the concepts into easily understandable documentation.
Good working knowledge of typography and technical documentation models
Good knowledge of content authoring tools, including HTML-based editors
Good knowledge of the software development life cycle
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Flexible/adaptable with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work under minimum supervision and in a geographically distributed team
